Anne Arundel County Public Library (AACPL) will participate in the 8th annual Maryland STEM Festival (October 14 – November 13), a family-friendly statewide celebration of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math)!
Here at Anne Arundel County Public Library, we strive to make teens feel welcome at the library and provide them with a safe, inclusive space where they can learn, create, connect, and, most importantly, have fun!
September 18 – 24 is Banned Books Week, an annual celebration of our freedom to read in the United States, as well as an opportunity to bring awareness to books that have historically or recently been challenged in our country.
And just like that, the end of August is upon us. It’s nearly time for students and teachers to head back to school for a new year. We know that jumping back into school mode can be a bit overwhelming, and AACPL wants to help make the transition as seamless as possible.
There is a new museum pass available for library cardholders! The recently added Historic Annapolis group pass allows admission to both the Museum of Historic Annapolis and the William Paca House and Garden located in downtown Annapolis.
The Community Pantry at Discoveries has been open for a full year! We've served 1,890 families (definitely some repeats!) from 50 different Maryland zip codes.
School may have ended for the summer but learning never should. Keep the students in your life engaged and avoid the summer slide with help from the library.
