Licensed Social Workers regularly visit to connect customers with county and state resources available for financial assistance, immigration help, substance abuse counseling and more.
Services include:
- Referral & Linkage Services: food, clothing, furniture, shelter, immigration resources, substance abuse, relative resources.
- Financial Assistance: court-ordered evictions, utilities cut off (electric, water, heating fuel), 1st month’s rent, life-sustaining prescriptions, baby supplies, burial assistance, benefits (SNAP, temporary cash assistance)

Baby and Community Pantries
- *Takiya Green runs a baby pantry out of Brooklyn Park and Riviera Beach libraries by appointment. Please call 443-462-9711.
- The Discoveries Community Pantry will be open the first Saturday of each month from 10 am until noon and the first Tuesday of each month from 6 - 7 pm at Discoveries: The Library at the Mall beginning January 2023.
Social Worker service is provided through a partnership with the Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services.
