Make a simple craft and listen to stories to celebrate Earth Day. This program is best for children ages 3+.

Join us for an awe-inspiring performance by Malikat Al Dabke (Queens of Dabke) and experience the vibrant and rhythmic traditional dance form known as dabke!

Kids (ages 6-10) come join us as we celebrate the 55th anniversary of Earth Day! We will explore this day through fun games, STEM, reading, writing, crafts, and tons of other activities. Weather permitting, this event will be outside.

Join us for an afternoon of Earth Day-themed crafts and activities, including making eco-friendly seed paper that you can plant! Families can spend some time learning, creating, and celebrating planet Earth together.

Join us for an afternoon of Pokémon fun! Show off your Pokémon cards, make a Pokémon craft, or do our scavenger hunt and try to catch all the Pokémon hiding at the library. 

Kids and families are invited to about Lebanese-American painter and multimedia artist Helen Zughaib and create a colorful work of art inspired by what we learn.

Test out your creative problem solving skills by solving our monthly challenges. Have the chance to have your finished work displayed at the Riviera Beach branch! STEM/STEAM

Families are welcome to drop-in anytime between 2-4 PM for Lego® build and play fun. We'll provide plenty of Legos®!

Designed for emerging readers in kindergarten through 2nd grade, we'll meet every month to read several stories, play interactive games, engage in book discussions, and other literacy building activities! 

Come learn and play chess with the Broadneck Highschool Chess Club. All ages and experience levels welcome. 

Created for children in kindergarten through second grade, this club will meet monthly to practice our reading skills as a group with fun book discussions, activities, and games. We’ll have a new theme each month!

Travel back in time! Young historians will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with historical people and cultures.

Does your 3rd-5th grader like to read, play games, and have fun?

Join us for a special book club just for beginning readers! Kids will listen to a story, play word-decoding games, participate in a read-along, and make a craft. This program is best for children in kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Join us for a fun and easy craft program with a special spring-themed project. This program is for ages 5-11 with an accompanying adult and registration is required.

Hear ye, hear ye! All royal lads, lasses, knights and knaves are invited to enjoy a variety of stories, songs, rhymes, and movement activities while building early literacy skills. Royal garb is encouraged, but not required.

Come join our crafting fun! Come watch Brother Bear on our big screen and make a cool movie craft.

Celebrate Earth Day by learning about the plants, animals, and other nature that we see in our neighborhoods and roadsides! Dress for the weather and be prepared for a ramble around the sidewalks near Severn Library.

Come out and meet Susan Muaddi Darraj, author of the children's book series Farah Rocks. Susan will read excerpts from her books about Farah, a funny and brave girl navigating 5th grade.
