STEM Events at AACPL

With a wide range of programs, there’s something fun for everyone! Get introduced to the wonders of STEM during storytimes, unleash your creativity with hands-on activities and be captivated by science demonstrations and engaging discussions.

Here’s a sneak peek of the excitement that awaits you:

If you want to stay involved and continue your STEM journey beyond the festival, don't forget to check out our upcoming events calendar for free STEM programs and activities. We offer a wide range of programs and activities that kids and families can enjoy. You can even use the MakerSpace at Michael E. Busch Annapolis Library and the Creation Station at Odenton Library to bring your STEM ideas to life with tools like 3D Pens, the Cricut machine or Button Maker. If you're not sure how to get started or want some help, you can schedule a one-on-one appointment with our staff to learn how to use the MakerSpace and Creation Station tools safely.

Can't make it to the library in person? You can explore STEM through AACPL's online digital resources. From Science Reference Center (Explora) to National Geographic Kids, we have a variety of curated resources to encourage STEM education for all ages.

Check out our catalog for more STEM materials and books you can borrow from your local library branch. Whether you're a budding scientist, engineer, programmer or just curious about how the world works, our collection has something for every learner.
