Anne Arundel County Public Library Hosts Events to Honor Arab American Heritage Month 

(March 28, 2024 – Annapolis, MD) Anne Arundel County Public Library is offering the following events at area libraries to recognize April’s Arab American Heritage Month. 

 

Malikat Al Dabke Performance 

Join us for an awe-inspiring performance by Malikat Al Dabke (Queens of Dabke) and experience the vibrant and rhythmic traditional dance form known as Dabke.

Preschoolers will have the opportunity to create and explore art inspired by Arab American artists.

Mosaic Tile Art 

Saturday, April 20 from 10 am – 4 pm  

Mosaics, an art form that originated in the Middle East, feature prominently in Arabic artwork. Make your own paper mosaic at the library.

Movie Mondays 

Monday, April 1 at 10:30 am 

Join us for coffee and snacks as we watch Arab Blues (rated G) in celebration of Arab American Heritage Month. 

 

Adult Book Club
