About Candid and Grants Research
Candid is a nonprofit that helps other nonprofits serve their communities. We offer Candid's key tools including GuideStar and Foundation Directory. Our customers can access GuideStar to research local nonprofits to support and to find services. Nonprofits seeking funding can also access Foundation Directory to find and connect with funders. As a Candid Community Partner, the Anne Arundel County Public Library acts as a resource center for our local grantseeking community.
Important update: Starting March 27, 2024, Grants to Individuals (GTI) will automatically redirect to Foundation Directory.
- For first time users: Sign up for a Candid library card.
- For all users: Go to the Candid Overdrive Collection and sign in with your Candid library card number.
- If you use the Libby app, you can add your Candid library card number as a separate account.
- You can have 2 holds and 2 checkouts at a time. Checkout period is 14 days. Most materials can be returned early.
- Overdrive new user information and help.
Please note: AACPL library card numbers cannot be used for Candid Overdrive checkouts. Candid ebooks are not available on the library's online catalog.
