Time for an art blast! Come by the library for an afternoon of various artistic activities! 

Join us in celebrating the summer season! Test your knowledge of all things summer—from classic summer movies and music to must-have food—in a friendly, competitive atmosphere.

The five kingdoms are at war and the realm is in chaos.

Paint an image that has been printed on watercolor paper or create your own original artwork in a relaxed atmosphere. No experience with watercolors necessary. All supplies will be provided.

Enjoy the role-playing and adventures of Dungeons and Dragons! Recommended to bring a completed Standard Array character sheet, dice set, and your imagination!

Let's play Lotería, a traditional Mexican game that is similar to bingo! Learn how to play while enjoying light snacks. This event will be in English and Spanish.

Flip through a selection of cookbooks ready for a new chapter! Cut out your favorite recipes and build a custom collection to take home. All supplies will be provided. 

Cookbook donations will be accepted at the program.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is still going strong and expanding - put your knowledge to the test with MCU trivia! Feel free to come with a group as a team, or be placed with others to make a team.

Do you have Lego that you'd love to trade in for something fresh and new-to-you? In-box with directions or loose, bring them in to exchange with fellow Lego fans and feel free to stick around and build for a bit!

Bring your family & friends for an outdoor game night at Glen Burnie Library. Play one of our games or bring your own! This event will be outside, so bring proper footwear and sun protection. 

Yoga Nidra is a sleep-based relaxation practice designed to rejuvenate the body and mind. 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is as restorative as three hours of sleep.

Find the whimsy at your library this summer! Stop by every Wednesday in July to try out a new adventurous activity.

Create a sense of tranquility, contentment, and joy with the healing powers of a Sound Bath!  Wear comfortable clothing.

Choose a recipe that fits the monthly cooking theme from a cookbook of your choice. Prepare the recipe at home and bring it to share. Call the branch for more information.

Movie Night at the library! Bring your favorite snack, blanket, and/or camp chair and get comfy for this indoor event. You're in for a great movie!  

Exercise your brain with a friendly game of Scrabble! For teens and adults.

Come jam with us at the library! Our traditional Bluegrass jam is both for folks new to bluegrass music interested in learning its standards and those with more experience seeking to develop deeper knowledge of tunes commonly played.
