Join us at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center for a special Story Hike! All are welcome to enjoy a story and learn about owls at the Reed Education Center. Meet an owl and a Harris's hawk from Owl Moon Raptor Center, learn about the differences between day and night birds of prey, and take a short hike on the SERC campus to look for signs of owls and hawks. 

This hike is 1.3 miles long and is not recommended for strollers. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Parking is limited at the Reed Education Center; please carpool if possible.
