Event Details

Exploration can be fun, and sometimes a little scary, but if we put safety first, we can learn so much about the world around us. Learn more about the importance of being safe through stories, music, and other safety-focused activities.

This program is purposely scheduled on Gun Violence Awareness Day. While firearm safety will not be the focus of the storytime, resources will be made available for adults and their families. To honor those impacted by gun violence, please consider wearing orange to the storytime and throughout the first weekend of June.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are available with advanced notice for library-sponsored programs. To schedule an interpreter, complete this request form at least one week prior to the event date. For questions, email programming@aacpl.net.
