Movie Night at Riviera Beach Library 

This month, in honor of African-American History month, we will be showing the 2017 restoration of Julie Dash's Daughters of the Dust (1991; NR). Daughters is the first film directed by an African-American woman given a theatrical release in the US and tells the story of three generations of women in a Gullah community in South Carolina as they prepare for the changes of moving to the North.

Popcorn provided while supplies last.
