Join us for an inspiring event with Katherine Haas, a longtime Annapolis resident of 50 years. Katherine will read excerpts from her book, Little Jade, which recounts her journey as an 11-year-old Eurasian immigrant facing cultural and linguistic challenges, along with experiences of racism. Her story aims to inspire those who feel out of place, encouraging them to embrace and be proud of their unique identities. ASL interpretation will be provided for this program.
