Event Details

CoreShark H20 presents Wonderful Watershed! What is a watershed and how do our actions on land impact the Chesapeake Bay? Through the use of a hands-on, interactive coastal watershed model, participants will learn amazing facts about the wonderful watershed that we live in and ways in which we can protect and preserve Maryland’s waterways. This program addresses the concepts of land use, run-off, point and non-point source pollution as well as solutions to these issues. Participants will be challenged to consider their land use while minimizing the impact on the local environment.

Bring a brown bag lunch* to enjoy in the library meeting room with other homeschoolers after the program.
