Program Description

Event Details

Reader's theater is a way to involve children in reading aloud. In reader's theater, children “perform” by reading scripts created from grade-level books or stories.

Children ages 6 to 10 will practice their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills by performing fun short plays in groups. This program is best for children that can read simple sentences by themselves.

Mark your calendar, the next Reader's Theater will be held on: Monday, June 23rd @ 6pm.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are available with advanced notice for library-sponsored programs. To schedule an interpreter, complete this request form at least one week prior to the event date. For questions, email programming@aacpl.net.
