Once you’ve enabled cookies, follow these steps.

  1. Go to The Baltimore Banner library card entry form here, enter your library card number and submit.
  2. Click the Click here to continue button to continue to The Banner’s website.
  3. Enter the code "AACPL" when prompted.
  4. When the registration form appears, create a free account or sign into an existing one.
  5. Enjoy reading The Banner.

Access lasts for 30 days after being referred from our website form. You can regain access after that by repeating the steps above and logging in with your existing Banner account.

This allows The Banner to place a unique identifier on your browser that bypasses the paywall and keeps your login information. For more information on The Banner's cookie policy, click here.

Yes, you can use the Baltimore Banner's mobile app with your AACPL account. Here's what you need to do:

  • First, visit our website to create your account, enter your passcode (AACPL), and start your 30 day access. 
  • Then, download The Baltimore Banner app for Apple or Google Play
  • Login to the app with the same account you created on the website.
  • You can now access The Baltimore Banner from your mobile app during your 30 day access period.
  • At the end of the 30 days, visit the website again to login and restart your 30 day clock. 
  • Log back into the app to continue your access.

To unsubscribe from The Banner's email list, click the “Unsubscribe” link at the very bottom of any email you’ve received from The Baltimore Banner.
