Margot Argeles is a rising senior at Severna Park High School. Growing up in Anne Arundel County, Margot’s connection with the library started with her early childhood involvement in summer reading and youth book clubs. She is a proven student leader with a strong passion for education, volunteering and leadership.
Margot currently serves as a member of both the Anne Arundel County Youth Advisory Council serving County Executive Steuart Pittman and the Kwons Taekwondo Leadership Team. Margot is an active member of her school’s math team, trivia club, Women in S.T.E.M club and co-founded the Spanish club.
She dedicates time to serving her community as a volunteer for local nonprofit Giving Back Linda’s Legacy and spends her free time reading, traveling and working as a Spanish tutor. Margot’s goal is for every student to feel empowered to explore, excited to learn and supported within the safe space created by our libraries.
