Local historian Kenneth Sabel, through curated photos and research, presents the role of the Annapolis area, including the Broadneck Peninsula and the Naval Academy, in the birth and early development of Naval Aviation. The presenter will cover the time period from the construction of the first Naval airfield at Greenbury Point in 1911 to the closure of the Naval Seaplane base at North Severn in 1961.
