Program Description

Event Details

Join us as Daryl Cooke, a NASA Solar System Ambassador, shares the latest news from NASA and identifies some of the cool things you can look for in the night sky. You might even get the chance to look through a real telescope! Bring a brown bag lunch* to enjoy in the library meeting room afterward with other homeschoolers.

*Lunch is not provided.

For more than 25 years, the NASA Solar System Ambassadors program has been a public engagement effort that works with motivated volunteers across the nation to communicate the science and excitement of NASA's space exploration missions and discoveries with the people in their communities.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are available with advanced notice for library-sponsored programs. To schedule an interpreter, complete this request form at least one week prior to the event date. For questions, email programming@aacpl.net.
