Program Description

Event Details

Soaring across the sky, Bessie Coleman became the first African American and Native American woman to earn a pilot license in the U.S.

Test your high flying skills in her honor--make a paper airplane to test how far it can go, how fast it will fly, and how many tricks you can do.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are available with advanced notice for library-sponsored programs. To schedule an interpreter, complete this request form at least one week prior to the event date. For questions, email programming@aacpl.net.
