Seiya B. South River High.
Oshi No Ko Volume 2, written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, is a romantic comedy manga. The manga focuses on Ruby and Aqua Hoshino, two twins navigating the entertainment industry while also still trying to come to terms with their past. Their mother, Ai Hoshino, was a renowned idol who was murdered by an obsessed fan in a tragedy.
In this volume, Aqua does his first acting role in "I'll Take Sweet Today", the anime adaptation of a widely popularized manga. He quickly realizes that many of the other actors are more focused on maintaining their public images than on actual acting and making a good show. After seeing this, Aqua decides to forcibly improve the quality of the show with his schemes and successfully makes the show come out well.
I thoroughly enjoyed this volume, appreciating the vibrant personalities of the characters and the unexpected plot twists. Frill Shiranui stands out as my favorite character; despite her popularity, she remains remarkably down-to-earth and personable. Oshi No Ko Volume 2 is a great choice for readers who enjoy romantic comedies with engaging characters and intriguing story lines. The series offers both entertainment and a fresh perspective on the entertainment world.
