October is Riparian Buffer Month. What is a riparian buffer?  Why are they so beneficial to Maryland? What plants grow in a riparian buffer that can also grow in a residential landscape? 

Come to this presentation, learn the answers and see the impact Riparian Buffers can have on the Bay and in every Maryland community. Alison is a Watershed Steward and Master Naturalist who knows that all people have a role to play in protecting our waterways and Maryland’s unique fauna and flora.
