In 1962, before Anna is about to take her vows to become a Catholic nun, she meets her only living relative.  She learns her true name is Ida, she is Jewish, and her family has a secret that dates back to the German occupation of Poland. Ida and her aunt embark on a journey to discover their family story and where they belong.
