Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. Join our discussion as we highlight the benefits of free and open access to information and explore the harms of censorship. Anne Arundel County Public Library Chief Operating Officer Cathy Hollerbach and Chief Technology Officer Rudy Rodela will lead a conversation covering the national landscape of book banning, legislation addressing it locally, and how we engage with these book challenges at the Anne Arundel Public library system.
