Anne Arundel County Department of Health’s Adolescent and Family Services (AFS) provides outpatient mental health and addiction services to County children and adolescents, ages 4 to 18, and their families. Phone: 410-222-6785

AACRC offers mediation, facilitation, and community conferencing services to individuals and groups in conflict. These services are free of charge to residents of Anne Arundel County. They also offer training and workshops in mediation, anger management, and other conflict resolution processes.

The Gun Violence Intervention Team (GVIT) under the Anne Arundel County Department of Health, works to address gun violence as a public health issue. Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency, Inc. provides crisis response systems and other resources that provide immediate help and assists with prevention, recovery, resiliency, health, and wellbeing of residents who are at risk. Anne Arundel County veterans returning from Iraq & Afghanistan and their families will receive free mental health and substance use treatment. Confidential services will include assessments, inpatient and outpatient treatment and intensive case management.

Free emergency baby pantry for families in need. Provides diapers, wipes, formula, and baby clothes.

The Light House helps clients experiencing homelessness stabilize their health, maximize income, and secure safe and stable housing. Beyond providing food, clothing, and shelter, the organization also addresses the underlying causes of homelessness, such as lack of marketable job skills, addiction, and the debilitating effects of both mental and physical health issues.

NAMI Anne Arundel County provides educational resources and events, statewide outreach, advocacy, and affiliate organizational support. 

988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. It provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States.

Offers free screenings for anxiety and depression for ages 13 and up. Oasis provides a much-needed alternative to stressful emergency room visits and long waits for medical appointments, now offering telehealth options.

Provides inpatient, outpatient and mobile crisis services for youth and families in Anne Arundel County. Inpatient location in Crownsville, outpatient and mobile service located in Odenton.
