Early Reader Book Club is a reading program designed for children in kindergarten through second grade.

Earth Day is on Saturday, April 22, and many people will be taking time on this day to reflect on our relationship with our planet.

Starting April 13, Anne Arundel County Public Libraries, working in partnership with the Department of Health, will offer free gun safety locks to area adults. The first-of-its-kind partnership in Maryland aims to save lives.

On September 30, 2022, more than 350 guests from across the county gathered in person at the Michael E. Busch Annapolis Library for the annual For the Love of the Library to celebrate and make their library better.

Anne Arundel County Public Library (AACPL) will participate in the 8^th annual Maryland STEM Festival (October 14 – November 13), a family-friendly statewide celebration of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math)!

Here at Anne Arundel County Public Library, we strive to make teens feel welcome at the library and provide them with a safe, inclusive space where they can learn, create, connect, and, most importantly, have fun!

September 18 – 24 is Banned Books Week, an annual celebration of our freedom to read in the United States, as well as an opportunity to bring awareness to books that have historically or recently been challenged in our country.
