With collective heavy hearts but upon the advice from public health officials, we are closing all locations starting at 5 pm today, March 13 through Sunday, March 29. Library officials will continue to monitor the rapidly changing health crisis and will determine if additional closures are necessary.
We recognize the importance of libraries as places for education, enrichment and inspiration and while we take tremendous pride in serving the public, it’s imperative that we close our doors in order to protect the health and safety of our customers, staff and volunteers.
No library fines and fees will be charged during the closure. Bookdrops will be closed to ensure the health and safety of library staff. All meetings and events remain canceled through May 2. For profit organizations with canceled meeting room bookings should contact the library after we reopen to request a refund.
We will continue to offer our digital resources and learning tools including an extensive collection of ebooks, eaudiobooks, emagazines, streaming movies, music and databases.
Customers can stay updated on changes to library services through the library’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and on our website.
We will continue to communicate with you as our response to this outbreak evolves. We look forward to welcoming you back into our buildings when it is safe to do so. Until then, please visit us online to take advantage of our great digital resources.
